Facilities
As part of the Neale-Wade Community College Building Schools for the future programme beginning in the summer 2010 the Sports Centre will be having a refurbishment of its facilities. We are lucky enough to have the following facilities:
Astroturf pitch
Our full sized, sand based Astroturf pitch can also be split in to two 7 aside pitches. The pitch is fully floodlit, is suitable for both Hockey and Football and is home to March Town Hockey Club as well as being a training venue for many local Football clubs. The cost of hiring the pitch can be found on our Price list section.
Sport Hall
Our Sports Hall is the size of 4 badminton courts and is suitable for a number of different sports including 5 aside football, netball, table tennis and badminton. This is a very popular facility and his home to a number of local clubs. Casual bookings are also available mainly during the weekends. Gymnasium
Our Gymnasium has a wooden sprung floor and is suitable for Gymnastics and Martial Arts. It is home to the very popular Neale-Wade Gymnastics Club. Prices for the Gymnasium can be found on our Price list section.Tennis courts
We have 7 hard court tennis courts. Membership to March Tennis Club gives you free unlimited (subject to opening times and availability) access to the courts. The courts can also be hired on an hourly basis. The court space will be reduced at some point during the summer of 2010 because of the BSF building programme.
Lecture room
We also have a lecture room within the Sports Centre that can be used for meetings and to deliver theory sections of coaching courses.
